Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a customer service position
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic math skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • friendly and approachable demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Work experience as a cashier, barista, wait staff or a similar role in sales
  • familiarity with electronic equipment, cash register and POS
  • good math skills
  • strong communication and time management skills
  • customer satisfaction-oriented
  • flexibility to work various shifts

Job Duties

  • Greet customers as they enter, provide menus and recommendations
  • take orders while paying attention to details
  • cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • prepare beverages following recipes and company standards
  • serve beverages and prepared baked goods
  • ensure pricing is accurate
  • receive and process payment
  • issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
  • redeem coupons
  • keep the area clean and stocked with supplies
  • notify kitchen of shortages or special orders
  • resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
