Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- excellent computer skills with competency in PDI Enterprise POS
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- basic math skills
- Food Handlers Permit if required by store/county
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- have open availability to work all shifts as needed at home store and other stores within district when the need arises

Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and all others in the work location
- operate POS (cash register and fuel console) precisely and accurately manage money and other types of payment received for product sold
- enter all transactions into the register, accept payments and account for all funds
- conduct sales transactions accurately and quickly
- perform service transactions such as credit card transactions, manufacturer coupon redemption, vendor check-in, alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales, and fast-food sales according to company policy
- check identification for restricted products
- actively participate in all sales promotions and campaigns
- practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
- review and adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
- maintain neat personal appearance and wear company uniform
- prepare hot food items and maintain condiment bar as designated
- ensure store cleanliness, including floors, pumps, restrooms, counters, equipment, and merchandise
- receive and stock product deliveries using proper lift techniques
- conduct daily inspections of perishable products for freshness and rotation
- follow company safety and emergency procedures
- act as backup cashier and Barista during shifts as needed
- perform deep cleaning tasks during night shifts
- prepare for morning rush by ensuring fresh coffee brewing and restocking
