Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
- demonstrate positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- be dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- possess good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- process each customer order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
