Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively and visibly
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Understand and operate the Point of Sale system handling various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling limits and loss prevention
- Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol, tobacco and DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Comply with all food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management
