Job Duties
- Greeting and assisting customers actively
- processing transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- operating the Point of Sale system and handling various payment tenders
- adhering to company guidelines on cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
- maintaining safety by complying with procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
- inspecting equipment and notifying management of repair needs
- creating a welcoming environment by answering product-related questions
- following local, state, and federal laws and company policies
- managing conflict calmly and cooperatively
- practicing honesty and integrity with customer and business information
- providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- collaborating effectively in a high-paced environment
