Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
at least one year cashier experience
familiarity with point of sale systems
ability to stand for extended periods
good communication skills
ability to work flexible hours
team player attitude

Job Duties

provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe checkout and return services
monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
position and support cashiers by expediting price checks
approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
serve as first level escalation for customer issues
assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates and new cashiers
