- familiarity with point of sale systems
- ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe checkout and return services
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- position and support cashiers by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- serve as first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates and new cashiers
