Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months cashier, waitress/waiter, or retail sales experience
- Ability to operate cash register accurately
- Basic math skills to add and subtract
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work third shift part-time
- Commitment to following safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Cash register operation knowledge
- Ability to add and subtract accurately and complete cashier's reports
- Six months experience in cashier, waitress/waiter, or retail store sales
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in customer interactions
Job Duties
- Stock all food and supplies daily as assigned to meet the needs of the retail operation
- Act as a liaison for the Nutrition Department and St. Elizabeth Healthcare when serving customers and associates
- Process orders accurately and offer assistance as needed
- Communicate in a professional caring manner when serving customers
- Efficient handling of cash register duties and follow proper accounting and cash handling practices
- Perform cleaning tasks and duties to meet high quality standards
- Compliance with all local, state, federal and medical center regulatory, safety, sanitation and security standards
- Participate in performance improvement studies and assist with data collection
- Perform other duties as assigned
