Job Requirements

- Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction

Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- Control cash shortages and overages and work to prevent loss
- Adhere to company policies on restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies to management
- Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and maintenance needs
- Provide a welcoming environment and answer customer questions
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information
- Provide support to customers including minors and individuals with special needs
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
