Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

  • familiarity with retail point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe customer service
  • process checkout and return transactions
  • monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • seek product/project knowledge to inform and identify selling opportunities
  • follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
  • approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
  • provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front-end associates
  • participate in training new cashiers and utilize available tools for cashier development
