Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously at all times
- process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and follow company policies
- monitor and adhere to cash handling limits to control loss
- enforce store policies on restricted sales such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
- report pricing discrepancies and maintenance needs to management promptly
- comply with all food safety regulations, safety procedures, and store policies
- maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming checkout environment
- manage conflict calmly and cooperatively
- provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries about products and store services
