Job Requirements
- Less than high school education
- Ability to stand and walk regularly
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel

- Ability to operate barcode scanners and electronic cash registers

Job Duties
- Scan and tender customer orders quickly while engaging them in conversation
- Offer assistance to customers to ensure a great shopping experience
- Process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, SNAP benefits cards, and vouchers
- Page another associate when lines exceed three customers or for large transactions
- Greet customers entering the store
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Supervise and provide on-the-job training to other associates
