Job Duties
- Provide positive, personalized customer service by greeting each customer in a friendly manner, assisting with purchases, suggestively selling and making sure products are available for purchase
- Run a Point of Sale (POS) system and monitor customer lines to expedite the sales process
- Maintain knowledge of products and services offered by the company and actively promote company programs
- Adhere to federal, state and local regulations and prohibit the sale of age restricted products to underage individuals
- Listen and respond to customer requests, follow immediate customer satisfaction guidelines and forward information to management as needed
- Clean and maintain the store area including counters, equipment, floors, cabinets and external areas
- Perform light maintenance duties and communicate equipment issues to management
- Learn and follow company policies on grooming, cleanliness, uniform, eating, drinking, smoking and professional appearance
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment and comply with health and sanitation practices
- Ensure proper stock levels, dating and rotation of food products and supplies
- Attend company required training programs and assist in training fellow store associates
- Report all time worked accurately for compensation
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management
