Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate cash register and related equipment

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds

  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

Job Duties

  • Greets customers as they enter the location
  • Accepts money in the form of cash and credit or debit cards for items purchased
  • Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment
  • Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies
  • Ensures accurate transactions
  • Bag, box, and wrap purchased items
  • Understands ticket rotation
  • Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information
  • Stocks merchandise
  • Responsible for a neat, clean and organized store
  • Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or mission
