Job Duties

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional service
  • process customer transactions quickly and accurately
  • handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • adhere to company policies on cash shortages and restricted sales
  • report pricing discrepancies
  • follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • maintain knowledge of current and upcoming promotions
  • comply with food safety regulations
  • identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needed for repair
  • create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
  • work cooperatively in a fast-paced setting
