Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write and count
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator and scanner
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer payments including cash, credit/debit and change
- Provide customer service by answering questions and resolving complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- Promote knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
