Job Duties

  • Actively greet, engage, and assist customers
  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted items, and checkout procedures
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow established store procedures
  • Comply with food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions
  • Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing assistance
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict professionally
  • Maintain honesty and integrity when handling customer and business information
  • Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
