Job Duties
- Actively greet, engage, and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted items, and checkout procedures
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established store procedures
- Comply with food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing assistance
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict professionally
- Maintain honesty and integrity when handling customer and business information
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
