Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- maintain a positive attitude
- interact effectively with customers
- operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable and reliable
- work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- respond well to direction and constructive criticism
- participate effectively in a team environment
- perform repetitious activities
- multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- lift and carry products up to 30 lbs
- move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- have strong attention to detail and math proficiency

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle cash, credit/debit payments, and give change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of checkout areas
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- provide directions to products and share knowledge of weekly ads and store events
