Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Display outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front-end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- Be dependable and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to perform repetitious tasks and multitask efficiently
- Must lift and carry products up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Require strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling, mathematics, reading, and writing

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Provide helpful product information and address customer complaints
- Follow front-end procedures and assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout area
- Communicate effectively with front-end manager and Head Cashier
- Stay informed about weekly ads, promotions, and in-store events
