Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles preferred
- Ability to arrive on time consistently
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Positive and friendly attitude with strong punctuality
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and organizing workload
- Skilled in problem-solving and offering customer solutions
- Experience engaging with diverse customer groups
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred
- Familiarity with retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons is an asset
Job Duties
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service at the cashier station
- Accurately process customer transactions using point-of-sale systems
- Assist with inventory management and stocking merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area
- Help resolve customer concerns and provide solutions efficiently
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming shopping environment
- Support the Store Team in achieving high customer service standards
