Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them throughout their shopping experience
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming checkout environment
- Comply with all food safety regulations and company safety procedures
