Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail cashier or customer service roles preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting
  • Capability to handle monetary transactions accurately
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and a guest-focused approach to service

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests with friendly conversation and eye contact to create a welcoming environment
  • Scan grocery items efficiently and process sales and monetary transactions accurately
  • Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products are protected during transport
  • Maintain awareness of store promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively
  • Keep the register station neat, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Communicate guest requests clearly to Guest Services leadership to ensure high guest satisfaction
  • Perform other team support duties as needed to contribute to store operations
