Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- previous customer service experience preferred
- proficiency with POS systems
- ability to handle money accurately
- strong attention to detail
- ability to stand or walk throughout entire shift
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- good communication skills
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- flexibility to work various shifts
- Food Handlers Permit if required by local regulations

Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others in the work location
- conduct sales transactions accurately and quickly
- operate POS system precisely and handle all types of payment
- perform service transactions including credit cards, coupon redemption, vendor check-in, alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales
- check identification for restricted products
- participate in sales promotions and practice suggestive selling
- adhere to all laws affecting store operations
- maintain neat personal appearance and wear company uniform
- prepare hot food items and maintain condiment bar
- ensure store is clean, sanitized and free of litter
- sweep and mop floors
- wipe down fuel delivery area and pumps
- spot check and restock restroom
- regularly clean counters, equipment and trash areas
- organize and straighten backroom supplies
- receive and stock merchandise using proper lift techniques
- conduct daily inspections of perishable products
- follow company safety and emergency procedures
- exemplify G&M's core values
- act as back up cashier during Barista shifts
- brew fresh coffee every two hours
- deep clean restroom and equipment during night shift
- prepare store for morning rush
- perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager
