Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess good communication skills and be able to take direction and criticism
- Perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds for a distance of up to 3 feet
- Use both hands to move grocery carts with force up to 35 pounds for a distance of up to 4 feet
- Have proficiency in cash handling, counting, reading, and writing
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Be able to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- Show proficiency in cash handling and basic mathematical skills
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Provide prompt and friendly service ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
