Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- have an outgoing and friendly behavior
- demonstrate a positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- able to perform repetitious activities
- able to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs from 36" to 24" for distances up to 3 feet without mechanical assistance
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs force for distances up to 4 feet
- requires strong attention to detail
- proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle cash, credit, debit payments, and change accurately
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
