Job Duties
- Actively greet customers and engage with them during check out
- Process customer transactions through the Point of Sale system quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel
- Follow all food safety regulations and store safety procedures
- Provide friendly assistance by answering customer questions about products and store policies
