Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts logically requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- Be dependable and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
- Ability to move grocery carts requiring physical effort
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing products, and dusting as needed
- Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Keep informed about weekly ad items, store events, and product locations
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and team members
