Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Be able to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Must lift/carry products up to 30 lbs for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service to ensure complete satisfaction
- Handle customer payments including cash, credit/debit, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing product information and resolving complaints
- Follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- Stay knowledgeable about weekly ads, store events, and seminars
- Execute all other related duties as assigned
