Job Requirements
- Prior TWIC is required
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including handling cash transactions
- Availability for seasonal schedule with variable days and hours
- Compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- Ability to maintain cash drawer accuracy and follow company procedures for cash control
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to use cash register and handle point of sale systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
- Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- issues receipts to customers
- Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
