Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months previous experience and/or training
  • Valid State of Florida driver's license
  • Ability to work 37.5-40 hours per week
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting 12-20 pounds
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Six months previous experience and/or training in a related role
  • Valid State of Florida driver's license
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle money responsibly and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with financial systems and cash handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Receive and verify payments including cash, checks, credit cards, and electronic transactions
  • Issue receipts and balance cash drawers
  • Prepare daily deposit reports
  • Post transactions accurately in the financial system and maintain supporting documentation
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person
  • Provide courteous assistance and refer complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Maintain compliance with cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Assist with training new staff in cashiering procedures
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and data entry
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial and customer information
  • Account for all funds in drawers and tills
  • Reconcile payments and prepare deposits
  • Greet customers and resolve routine problems
