Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Food Handlers Permit if required by store or county
- Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- Open availability to work all shifts as needed at home store and other stores within district
- Ability to stand and/or walk for entire shift
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist level
- Ability to bend at waist with some twisting
- Ability to work with arms bent all day
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and/or crouch while working
- Ability to push and pull with arms up to 20 pounds
- Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects throughout workday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent computer skills including competency in PDI Enterprise POS
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision

Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and all others in the work location
- Operate POS (cash register and fuel console) precisely and accurately manage money and other types of payment received for product sold
- Enter all transactions into the register, accept payments and account for all funds
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Perform service transactions in accordance with company policy including credit card transactions, manufacturer coupon redemption, vendor check-in, alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales, and fast-food sales
- Check identification for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products according to company policy
- Actively participate in all sales promotions and other campaigns
- Practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
- Review and adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
- Always maintain a neat personal appearance and wear company uniform and name tag
- Prepare hot food items as designated by Store Manager
- Ensure store is free of litter and spills and all equipment is sanitized and functional
- Sweep floors and spot mop as needed
- Wipe down Fuel Delivery area and pumps
- Spot check and restock restrooms
- Perform regular cleaning of counters, store equipment, trash areas
- Dust merchandise and clean windows
- Receive product deliveries and stock shelves
- Conduct daily inspections of perishable products for freshness and rotation
- Follow company policy on robbery/violence prevention and safety
- Act as back up cashier during Barista shift
- Brew fresh coffee and maintain condiment bar
- Perform night shift cleaning duties including deep cleaning restrooms and equipment
- Prepare for morning rush by restocking coffee and creamers
- Participate in store sales building and team activities
