Job Duties
- Ensure correct checkout totals by properly weighing, keying, and scanning items
- Maintain accurate money count in register
- Access or memorize product codes and stay familiar with promotions
- Adhere to tender policies and procedures for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, and WIC
- Maintain friendly customer service attitude by greeting customers and responding to inquiries and complaints
- Promote Thank You Card program and assist with sign-ups
- Bag groceries properly by grouping like items, limiting bag weight, and avoiding food cross-contamination
