Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old
- hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of cashiering experience
- possess outgoing and friendly demeanor
- ability to use front end equipment including register and scanner
- reliable and flexible schedule availability including nights and weekends
- good communication and team participation skills
- able to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- strong attention to detail
- proficient in cash handling and math skills
- able to read, write, and count
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- have the ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- exhibit good communication skills
- be dependable and able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- capable of moving grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle cash, credit, and debit payments
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves
- maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
- stay informed about weekly ads, store events, and product locations
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
