The Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) is a pivotal California state agency dedicated to protecting consumers and ensuring a fair and competent marketplace. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet minimum typing speed requirements and provide valid typing certificate
- Ability to pass criminal background check including fingerprinting for CORI clearance
- Residency in California required upon hire
- Availability to work full time in-office in Sacramento County
- Compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards
- Submission of a complete application package including resume and cover letter
Job Qualifications

- Experience in office administration or cashiering preferred
- Ability to type at required speed with valid typing certificate
- Knowledge of state administrative procedures and policies beneficial

Job Duties
- Manage BreEZe cashiering operations ensuring compliance with State Administrative Manual requirements and DCA policies and procedures
- Assist customers in person at the Board's public counter providing equitable and professional service
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of sensitive documents and information including CORI
- Process payments and handle transactional duties accurately
- Adhere to typing speed requirements and provide valid typing certification
- Support office services under the supervision of Office Services Supervisor II
- Collaborate with underserved communities and tribal governments to provide equitable services
