Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
Demonstrate positive attitude
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
Be dependable and reliable
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess good communication skills
Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
Ability to perform repetitious activities
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
Must lift or carry product up to 30 lbs from 36 to 24 inches for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
Must push grocery carts with up to 35 lbs force horizontally for up to 4 feet for 50 hours
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with numbers
Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
Provide information and resolve customer complaints
Assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly
Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
