Job Requirements

- Ability to effectively communicate

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

- 3 months experience with a POS system preferred
Job Duties
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Accurately input all orders into the POS system
- Answer guests’ questions about products and services and provide recommendations based on guests needs
- Process guest orders ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Deliver food orders promptly if applicable
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and beverages according to Nisqually Grounds recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation including heating and serving pre-made food items
- Ensure strict food storage procedures to prevent spoilage and contamination
- Ensure that all products utilized in the FOH are labeled with appropriate dates and pricing
- Answer incoming calls and provide appropriate service
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety control policies
- Maintain a clean area
- Restock Grab and Go display cases utilizing FIFO method if applicable
- Clean tables after guests have left
- Accurately reconcile cash drawers
- Perform other duties as assigned
