- basic math skills for handling cash and making change

Job Duties
- operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
- collect money, checks, electronic payments, and coupons, make correct change, assure security of the cash drawer
- scan or ring items accurately and efficiently
- identify and key in department numbers, produce items, UPC numbers, look up numbers, weights for non-scannable items
- assist guests with locating merchandise and answering questions or concerns
- assist with bagging guest merchandise carefully
- provide exceptional guest service with a positive attitude
