Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively at the checkout
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system
- Handle various payment types, including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- Follow company policies on cash handling, pricing discrepancies, and restricted sales items
- Maintain adherence to safety and food safety regulations
- Report equipment issues and unsafe conditions to management
- Provide assistance and information to customers to enhance their shopping experience
