Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- have a positive attitude
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner
- dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious activities, multitask and stay organized
- must lift/carry products up to 30 lbs from certain heights for extended periods
- must move grocery carts horizontally requiring up to 35 lbs force
- requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle cash, credit/debit payments, and make change
- provide product information and resolve customer complaints
- follow front end procedures and maintain checkout cleanliness
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ads, events, and seminars
- communicate effectively with front end manager and head cashier
