Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Show an outgoing and friendly behavior
- Have a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Able to perform repetitive activities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Must lift or carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
- Must move grocery carts horizontally with up to 35 lbs of force
- Requires strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Have good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator and scanner
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle customer cash, credit, debit payments and provide correct change
- Provide information and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Follow front end procedures and maintain checkout area cleanliness
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly promotions, store events and product locations
- Communicate excellently with front end manager and Head Cashier at all times
