Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to work variable hours including weekends and holidays
- adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- successful completion of the Smashburger training program
- ability to comply with all company procedures and employment laws
- possession of authorized U.S. work documentation
- participation in E-Verify system
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- must be 16 years or older
- able to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
- able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- complete Smashburger training program
- ability to communicate effectively
- knowledge of food safety and cash handling guidelines
- follow company policies and external employment regulations
- legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively with team members and communicate with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items and make meal suggestions
- verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guest surveys
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
- follow safety and security standards
- listen, communicate and collaborate well in a busy restaurant
- follow company cash policies to minimize losses
- upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- follow order accuracy procedures
