Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs
- punctual and reliable
- flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- completion of Smashburger training program
- ability to follow company and legal guidelines
- legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- participation in E-Verify program

- able to stand for extended periods

- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of cash handling and POS systems

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
- be knowledgeable of all menu items for meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify guest orders for accuracy
- manage to-go orders
- process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to active marketing promotions and encourage guest surveys
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area and restrooms
- follow all personal and food safety and security standards
- communicate and work well in a busy restaurant environment
- uphold integrity and follow company cash policies
- upsell food items to guests
- follow order accuracy procedures to minimize waste
