Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to two years cashier experience or equivalent
- One to two years food handling experience or equivalent
- Capable of working a keyboard or keypunch repetitively
- Able to count money
- Able to follow and transmit oral and written instructions
- Able to stand long periods of time

Job Duties
- Operate cash register using departmental cash handling procedures to provide courteous customer service
- Register all cash and charge sales to obtain payment for items purchased
- Verify amount of money in cash drawer impress with no more than two errors per quarter
- Count cash drawer with supervisor to ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Verify monies, voids, and charge sales with no more than one error per week
- Maintain appropriate sanitation in cash register area
- Report all spills and accidents in cafeteria immediately to supervisor or manager
- Prepare, portion, and serve food using proper recipes and guidelines
- Set up all food service stations using proper specifications
- Maintain sanitation in service and prep areas
- Maintain a Clean As You Go attitude
