- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- dependable and reliable
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to operate front end equipment
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- ability to perform repetitious tasks
- ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- ability to lift/carry products up to 30 lbs
- ability to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency with numbers
- capable of reading, writing and counting

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and give customers directions for product location
- maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
- execute other related duties as assigned
