Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Outgoing and friendly behavior
- Positive attitude
- Ability to operate front-end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically
- Use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- Dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills and ability to accept direction and participate in a team
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail with proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front-end procedures and maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, product location, and store events
- Communicate effectively with front-end manager and Head Cashier
