Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- dependable and reliable
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- must lift/carry products weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- must use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- provide customer information and resolve complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- keep checkout areas clean and orderly
