- ability to work independently and make independent decisions when necessary
- proficiency in using cash registers and accounting systems
Job Duties
- Receives and processes cash payments from customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- counts and reconciles fees collected, ensuring proper documentation and recording
- prepares and submits deposits, following established procedures and maintaining a secure handling of funds
- creates and sends invoices for services rendered, maintaining accurate records
- records sales transactions accurately and updates the accounts receivable system
- conducts cash transactions, providing correct change and receipts to customers
- endorses checks and enters transactions into the cash register or cash receipt journal/log
