Job Requirements

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
possess an outgoing and friendly demeanor
have the ability to operate front end equipment
be dependable and reliable
have good communication skills
be able to perform repetitious activities
be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
strong attention to detail
proficiency with numbers

Job Qualifications

1-2 years recent cashiering experience
outgoing and friendly behavior
positive attitude
ability to interact with customers
ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
good communication skills
ability to work flexibly including nights, weekends, holidays
ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Duties

process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
handle customer cash, credit, debit payments, and change
assist customers by providing product and store information
resolve customer complaints promptly
maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed
maintain communication with front end manager and head cashier
