Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Ability to operate registers, calculators, and scanners
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to perform repetitive activities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- Must lift or carry product weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- Use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments accurately
- Provide information to customers and resolve complaints
- Follow all front-end procedures and assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and product locations
- Communicate effectively with front-end manager and Head Cashier
- Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
