- open availability to work all shifts at the home store and other stores in the district
Job Duties
- take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others in the work location
- operate POS systems precisely and accurately manage money and payments
- enter all transactions into the register and conduct sales transactions accurately and quickly
- perform service transactions including credit card processing, coupon redemption, vendor check-in, and sales of alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fast-food
- check identification for restricted products following company policy
- participate actively in sales promotions and campaigns
- practice suggestive selling and customer relationship building
- adhere to city, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
- maintain neat personal appearance and wear company uniform and name tag
- prepare hot food items and maintain condiment bar
- ensure store cleanliness inside and out, including equipment sanitation
- sweep, mop floors and maintain fuel delivery area
- restock shelves and merchandise
- conduct daily inspections of perishable products for freshness and rotation
- follow company policy on robbery, violence prevention and safety protocols
- back up cashier duties when required
- brew fresh coffee regularly
- deep clean restrooms and equipment during night shifts
- prepare store for morning rush by ensuring readiness of food and beverage stations
