Job Requirements

  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Requires the ability to lift or push objects weighing over 10 lbs
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Basic proficiency in operating cash register and related equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and read policy documents
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, twist and lift over 10 lbs
  • Comfortable with electronic data processing equipment

Job Duties

  • Operate a cash register and receive payments from customers in cash or credit card
  • Accurately count and provide change to customers
  • Follow all HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of products and services available in unit
  • Clean and stock work area
  • Assist in locating, reconciling, and verifying transaction accuracy
  • Operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing
